October 11th, 2011Expansion of existing Boiler Plant of by installation of 9th Boiler of capacity 300 TPH and 36 MW Back Pressure Steam Turbine within existing Bokarao Steel Plant located at Bokaro Distt., in Jharkhand
The proposal is for expansion of existing Boiler Plant by installation of 9th Boiler of capacity 300 TPH and 36 MW Back Pressure Steam Turbine within existing Bokaro Steel Plant located at Bokaro Distt., in Jharkhand. Presently there are 8 Boilers fuelled by Coal (75%) and BF & CO Gas. Water consumption of the entire plant will be 7000 cum/hr which will be drawn from Cooling Pond of Steel Plant, which receives water from Tenughat Dam on Damodar River. Coal consumption will be 0.435 MTPA.
The project is estimated to cost Rs. 3010 million
