Expansion by addition of 3×110 MW (Stage-II) Gas Based Combined Cycle Power Plant at village Purani Chawani, in Dholpur Taluk, in Dholpur District , in Rajasthan.
The proposal is for expansion by addition of 3×110 MW (Stage-II) Gas Based Combined Cycle Power Plant at village Purani Chawani, in Dholpur Taluk, in Dholpur District , in Rajasthan. Land requirement will be approx. 20 ha. Out of which 0.708 ha is revenue land; 0.809 ha is double crop agriculture land; 0.442 ha is single crop agricultural land; 4.704 ha is waste land; 3.932 ha is others land and 8.83 ha is industrial land. Gas requirements will be 1.60 MMSCMD, which will be obtained from GAIL. Water requirement will be 8.76 MCM, which will be sourced from Chambal river through a pipeline at a distance of 8.25 km from the project site.
The project was considered for issuing ToR on Jan 10, 2011 and the ToR was issued on Feb 11, 2011
