3x 110 MW Gas Based Combined Cycle extension PP at village Chowki-Motipura by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd.

3×110 MW Gas Based Combined Cycle Power Plant at village Chowki-Motipura, in Chhabra Taluk, in Baran District , in Rajasthan

The proposal is for setting of 3×110 MW Gas Based Combined Cycle Power Plant at village Choki-Motipura, in Chhabra Taluk, in Baran District , in Rajasthan. The plant is being proposed in the land already available in Chhabra Coal Based Thermal Power Plant. Land requirement will be 21 ha, which is already in possession. Gas requirements will be 1.70 MMSCMD, which will be obtained from GAIL. Water requirement will be 8.76 MCM, which will be obtained from Parvan Dam on Paran river through a pipeline at a distance of 52 km from the project site.

The project was considered for issuing ToR on Jan 10, 2011 and the ToR was issued on Feb 11, 2011
