Proposed 3960 MW (6×660 MW) Super-Critical Coal Based THERMAL POWER PLANT of at village Barethi, in Rajnagar Taluk, in Chhatarpur, in Madhya Prradesh. The proposal of NTPC. Ltd. is for setting up of 6×660 MW Super-Critical Technology Coal Based THERMAL POWER PLANT at village Barethi, in Rajnagar Taluk, in Chhatarpur, in Madhya Pradesh. Land requirement will be 3000 acres, which comprises of 550 acres revenue land; 1300 acres single crop agricultural land; 400 acres waste land. 100 % domestic coal from will be used as fuel. Water requirement of about 150 Cusec

The project was considered for issuing ToR on Aug 09, 2010 and the ToR was issued on Sep 09, 2010
