Expansion Nasik TPP by Indiabulls Power Ltd.
The proposal was earlier considered in the 19th Meeting held during March 7-8, 2011, wherein the Committee noted that 100% coal linkage for 5×270 MW is not yet in place. It was also noted that the LoA presented indicates a shortage of required coal for meeting 5×270 MW units. The Committee therefore decided that the project proponent shall submit written clarification to the Ministry on the coal availability to meet the requirement of 5×270 MW now under consideration, as also an endorsement from the Competent Authority for applicability of the LoA presented for the changed configurations.
